Epoxy is not like polyester resins which just cure slower. i may not have any further useful suggestions, epoxy/ stitch and glue alternatives. Stich & glue plywood canoe. by i settled on a "stitch & glue" building method polyester resin does not have the same glue-like quality as epoxy so. What resin system can i use with this fiberglass tape, and it it commonly used on stitch and glue planned canoes? you are best off using epoxy resin if the intention is a stitch and glue canoe / kayak, the fibreglass tape is compatible with epoxy and polyester resin systems..
